The Fan

NOTHING in life is easy. That's universal. So being the bargain queen and we seem to be on this theme of "let's fresh up the 16 year old house" I trot over to Home Emporium.I find this great deal on Hunter fans. Now I've always hated the fanlights in our house with 4 lights on them and rather Victorian looking. My Mother reminded me that she was the one to pick them out. Of course. So I come home with this big, bold brushed nickle with BLACK blades fans. Awesome. It's for our kithen. My dear husband jumped right on it yesterday like a good male and promptly opened the box and distributed every piece of the fan on every tabletop available. Then he took a nap and watched T.V....
The next day. With much prodding Zollie got right on the fan project about noon. By 2 he discovered he had to take part of the ceiling out. By 3 he had the wrong screws By 4 he was getting Real frustrated. I went to my art studio. I came downstairs as it was getting dark, walked into the kitchen and behold ,there turning quietly was my HUNTER fan. Except I really couldn't see it. You see, the light source on it holds only two small Christmas lights. Whoops.
My husbands back taking a nap and I'm looking at my fan with a flashlight.Maybe tomorrow I can go to H.E. and find a discount lamp for the kitchen...
